Our DVD, CD, and Game Disc Resurfacing and Repair Service will repair your discs by removing scratches from CDs, DVDs, video game discs, karaoke, and software discs. Please, don't try this at home. This is not the same as the disc repair kits or crank devices that say they will repair your discs. Your CDs, DVDs or game discs really can look and play like new. But it takes professional disc repair equipment, testing and knowledge to ensure a successful DVD, CD, and Game Disc repair and that's what we do best!

Will my repaired discs look and play like new?

Yes. ...if the disc is repairable. Your repaired disc should look and play like a brand new one!

How long before I get my repaired discs back?

Most orders are completed within one or two business days, a little longer if your order is especially large. Priority service is available if you need your discs back even faster.

How do I pay?

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We also accept personal and business checks as well as cash.

What happens if I bring/send you a defective disc or a disc that is damaged beyond repair?

Some discs with cracks, foil damages, label damages, separating layers, etc. may be beyond repair. If such damage is noticed, We will return the disc "as-is" and you will not be charged. Put It On Video is not responsible for damage done to discs during shipping or the repair process.

What are your Limitations of Liability?

Under no circumstances is Put It On Video liable for the following: (1) third-party claims against you for damages; (2) loss of, or damage to, your records or data; or (3) economic consequential damages (including lost profits or savings) or incidental damages even if we are informed of their possibility.

How do scratches on a disc affect playback?

An optical disc functions under the principal of a laser light being shined onto the reflective surface on the "read" (bottom) side of the disc and returned to a sensor to interpret the information. A scratch in the protective polycarbonate layer of the disc will alter the path of reflective properties of the laser beam. If the scratch is big enough, the beam is not returned to the player properly, and a skip or blackout occurs and the disc now has playback problems.

What types of DVD's and CD's can be repaired?

Yes! We can repair any kind of optical discs, including CD's, DVD's, PlayStation® discs, Wii games, etc.

What types of damage can you repair?

We can repair the most common forms of read side damage quickly and professionally. There are three basic types of damage that can affect the playback of an optical disc: Read-Side Scratches, Top-Side Scratches, and Foil Dents. Read-Side Scratches are the most common, and we can even repair deep gouges in the polycarbonate layer back to looking and playing "just like new." Scratches on the top and foil dents are not repairable because the damage is internal to the disc and beyond a resurfacing and refinishing process.
